As reported by The Hill, White House director of rapid response Andy Hemming is no longer on the position.
Hemming resigned from his position on Monday, as disclosed by Politico, quoting numerous sources.
The exit was “mutually agreed upon,” a source immediate to the situation stated for the publication.
Before this, Hemming served as a senior adviser for research at the Republican National Committee. He additionally was employed as a director of research for President Trump’s campaign.
It is in fact a “mutual decision that he could best help promote the president’s agenda on the outside,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated for Politico.
“Andy is smart and very talented and we wish him all the best,” she further noted.
Hemming’s exit is the freshest departure from the White House communications staff.
Ex White House press secretary Sean Spicer and communication director Anthony Scaramucci said their farewell to their White House positions not too long ago, on top of what ex chief of staff Reince Priebus. Both Spicer and Priebus as well were positioned at the Republican National Committee before entering the Trump administration.
